Photo assignments for SLAM
This composition photo was taken at Long Beach California. I thought the angle of the deck was in perfect thirds of the frame and captured the photo despite my unbalance sate due to the wind.
I wasn't quite sure what to do for the line photo but when I was walking towards a Lucky's, I thought this was my best bet.
For the from photo I wanted to do capture shadows and how it defines shapes. I have this portrait displayed in my room and thought it was fit for the assignment. To make the form more definite I added a black and white filter.
Second photo at Long Beach California, but instead on focusing on the rule of thirds, I used space as the main objective.
This shape photo was taken at a book/record store in Alameda. This store had really cool vintage designs and figures. A cool feature that I was able to capture was a person shopping(who just happens to be my best friend.)
This photo was taken when I went to Paris, and it just so happened that Fall was it's most beautiful time of the year. I was in awe of the analogous leaves that trees protruded from their stems.
This photo was quite literally taken during my mom's bridal shower, but I just couldn't take my eyes off the beautiful structure of these lights. I might've looked a bit awkward at the dinner table when trying to get the right angle, but it was totally worth it.
To be honest, even though this was for a recent assignment, I had went into my camera roll and found this photo I had taken at the Louvre. I thought it was a perfect example of how framing works and was happy with composition of it all.
This photo was actually taken at Chipotle, which worked out fine at the end.
I took this photo during the SLAM picnic. And while everyone was playing tug of war, frisbee, or having any kind of fun, I was taking my opportunity to capture texture in nature.
This photo is nice I guess, but it's nothing special. I just went outside and snapped a photo of some stepped on cucumbers.
